Contact Fatima

Fatima Breland recently joined the Cox Law Firm.  She brings her years of private law practice and real estate business experience, combined with her recent service as the Litigation Staff Attorney for the Harris County Probate Court Number Three, to bear in representing clients in mediating property tax cases and representing property owners in valuation appeals.

Over the years, Fatima and Ray have worked together on numerous cases. Prior to joining The Cox Law Firm, Fatima led her own firm for 16 years, administering complex and highly contested estates, most of which involved real estate matters. The administration of estates required continuous negotiations on a broad spectrum, from negotiating with litigation counsel, with various entities including taxing authorities, to negotiating with national trust companies to minimize trust fees while structuring clients’ trusts, some of which were multi-million management trusts.

Prior to Law School, Fatima enjoyed a robust career in Real Estate with national homebuilding companies.

Fatima is passionate about representing her clients and will devise and execute the best strategy and arguments to advance her clients position and to arrive at a workable solution.
